Five children die after drinking contaminated water in Ghotki

Five children have reportedly died in Ghotki after consuming toxic and contaminated water, sparking shock and concern in the area.

Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident. He immediately sought a detailed report from the SSP Ghotki regarding the matter.

The minister directed authorities to determine whether the water had been deliberately poisoned and to uncover the full facts behind the incident. He instructed the SSP to personally supervise a thorough investigation and ensure a transparent inquiry.

Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar further stated that if anyone is found responsible, strict legal action must be taken against those involved.

He also extended his condolences to the parents of the deceased children and assured them that justice would be served and that the government stands in solidarity with the affected families.
