Dolphins’ Tagovailoa ruled out due to concussion

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills after taking a hard hit to the head midway through the third quarter.

Tagovailoa was quickly ruled out for the game with a concussion.

Tagovailoa put his head down as he ran the ball up the middle for a first down and was tackled by Bills safety Damar Hamlin with 4:24 left in the quarter.

Tagovailoa stayed on the ground and was quickly attended to by Dolphins trainers, as concerned teammates took a knee on the field.

Tagovailoa walked off the field on his own power and headed for the locker room. He was replaced by Skylar Thompson.

Tagovailoa was 17-of-25 for 145 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. The Dolphins trailed 31-10.
