QUETTA: Under the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the Balochistan government has launched an Electric Bike Scheme aimed at empowering youth and women across the province.
Each electric bike is priced at Rs 175,000, with the provincial government providing a 30% subsidy of Rs 52,500 per unit to make the bikes more affordable.
Selected applicants will need to pay an initial down payment of Rs 17,500 to participate in the scheme.
To make the scheme accessible for students and female professionals, a budget-friendly installment plan has been introduced. Beneficiaries will pay Rs 4,773 per month over a two-year period (24 months).
Applicants can register online through the official portal: www.ebike.balochistan.gov.pk

Balloting: A transparent lucky draw will determine the winners. Selection: Applicants whose names are drawn will be eligible to receive their electric bikes.
The initiative is part of Balochistan’s broader efforts to promote sustainable mobility, support women’s empowerment, and provide practical opportunities for the province’s youth.
