ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar provided a detailed update on Operation Ghazab‑Lil‑Haqq, highlighting significant achievements of Pakistan’s security forces as of 11 PM.

Key points from the briefing include: 297 Afghan Taliban personnel killed, over 450 injured, 89 Taliban checkposts destroyed, with 18 captured by Pakistani forces, 135 tanks and armored vehicles destroyed, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy, effective airstrikes carried out at 29 locations inside Afghanistan and noted as a major success for Pakistan’s security forces, marking substantial progress along the border.

The Minister emphasized that these operations demonstrate Pakistan’s strong defensive capabilities and ongoing commitment to neutralizing threats along its borders.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump commented on the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, stating that Pakistan is handling the situation well and that he does not plan to intervene.

President Trump expressed his respect for Pakistan’s Prime Minister and its top military leadership, including the Field Marshal, highlighting his admiration for their approach to national security and border management.
