The groom’s baraat– consisting of the groom, his family, and friends– then proceed to the wedding venue. While the groom is riding on a mare, his baraatis sing and dance to the wedding venue. At Anant Ambani’s wedding, the baraatis included major stars including Rajnikant, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Ranveer Singh, Hardik Pandya, and many more who danced their hearts out. On arrival at the wedding venue, the Jaan or Agaman ritual is performed to welcome the groom and the baraatis with sweets and aarti.
