Bethenny Frankel got candid about his co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Jason Hopp.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum recently appeared on Benny Blanco’s podcast Friends Keep Secrets, where she revealed that she’s “not exactly” amicable with Jason as they continue to co-parent their daughter, Bryn Hoppy.

When asked if they “co-exist,” Bethenny responded, “We do both exist on this earth, so that’s positive.”

“It’s been a strained year,” she confessed. “It’s been a challenging year.”

The 55-year-old TV personality described her divorce with Jason as a “traumatic exercise.”

“There were a lot of circumstances that have been, that are … torture, like, traumatic,” Bethenny divulged. “Like, 10 years [in court for] a two-year marriage and, like, every single branch on the tree [has been affected].”

For those unaware, Bethenny and Jason finalized their divorce in 2021, eight years after announcing their separation. The two welcomed their daughter, Bryn, in May 2010.

During the interview, the Skinnygirl founder also gushed over her relationship with her teen daughter.

“When you parent, it’s not like you parent and it happens passively. You take long drives, you hang out, you go to dinner,” Bethenny explained. “Parents are very transactional and, like, we have the meal and then we drive; it has to flow. I love her so much, [she’s] the best.”

“When we vibe and we are watching something and we’re laughing, we connect, but sometimes we’re on different paths. We’re very much like Thelma and Louise, [and] we are like roommates in a way,” she added.
