Presley Gerber’s last public appearance was a family celebration honouring his sister Kaia Gerber’s collaboration with denim brand Re/Done.
The 27-year-old model joined Kaia, supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber at the collection launch in May 2026, just months before his death on September 20.
Photographs shared by Just Jared on Instagram showed Presley smiling alongside his family at the event, which celebrated Kaia’s Re/Done collection and campaign film, Short/Cuts.
He wore a red plaid button-down shirt over a black T-shirt and jeans.
The launch marked an important milestone for Kaia, who joined the fashion label as an investor, creative partner and advisory board member.
Presley attended in support of his younger sister, with whom he had previously modelled and shared matching tattoos.
Presley began modelling as a teenager after signing with IMG Models. His career included runway appearances for Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as campaigns for Calvin Klein.
According to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records cited by People, Presley died at a rehabilitation facility.
His cause of death has not been announced, and an autopsy is pending. His family has requested privacy during a “very difficult and painful time”.
In his later years, Presley also spoke openly about depression, anxiety and substance use, using his platform to encourage conversations about mental health and recovery.
