Savannah Guthrie is under fire from some fans over what she posted on social media on the seventh-month mark of her mom Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
A cursory search on the TODAY anchor’s Instagram shows the mom of two posting about snippets of season three of Password.
She filmed the gaming show in 2025, according to People, months before her mom went missing.
Still, no post about Nancy on her seventh-month disappearance anniversary led some social media users to call her out.
Meanwhile, this is probably the last post she shared on her Instagram account about Nancy.
“This is our beautiful Mom,” Savannah wrote.
“Six months ago, someone took her out of her bed in the dead of night. We have lived every moment, every breath, and every heartbeat in agony and despair ever since.”
“Every day, we wake up and try to be strong and go on – because that’s what our joyful and resilient Mom taught us to do. But make no mistake – our hearts are in ruins.”
“We will never stop looking for answers – and we will never stop looking for the light. We will always be hoping and praying and believing in the best of our world – in spite of circumstance.”
“This is what our faith makes possible,” she concluded.
