King Charles and his elder son Prince William have reportedly reached an agreement over Harry and Meghan Markle’s future royal in the Firm, it has been claimed.

The Daily Star, citing the royal insiders, has reportedly the monarch and heir to throne are ‘on the same page’ about what happens in the wake of the California-based royal couple’s return to the UK.

The insider tells Vanity Fair, per the Daily Star, “There’s a sense that William is going to have to be watching over his shoulder the whole time. He doesn’t know what his brother is going to spring on them all next.

“This was meant to be a happy time for him. Catherine is doing well and George is just about to start Eton. This has just derailed them.”

The close confidant said Prince William was “concerned” about the speed of Meghan and Harry’s decision on return, adding that the Prince of Wales is keen for Meghan and Harry to not be fully brought back into the fold.

The insiders said, “Prince William is very concerned about the Sussexes coming back and why they have made the decision so quickly. He is adamant the situation must remain as it is and that Harry and Meghan will not carry out royal engagements.”

William has sought King Charles assurance “there will be no changes to the present situation.”

The future king also held a crucial meeting with King Charles “one on one” about the possible move, and they remain “on the same page” that Harry and Meghan will remain private individuals and not be given any sort of official royal duties.
