The newlyweds first met on a dating app in 2018 and exchanged vows after being together for seven years
Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski are officially married.
The Grammy- and Oscar-winning musician and producer tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in Montecito, California, on Saturday, August 29, according to People and Vogue. The couple had been together for seven years before exchanging vows.
Sulewski, 30, wore four custom Oscar de la Renta looks throughout the wedding celebrations, including outfits for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, first dance and reception, as well as the after-party. Finneas, 29, is best known for his extensive work with his younger sister, Billie Eilish, as well as his own solo music.
The newlyweds first met on a dating app in 2018. Finneas has previously recalled how quickly they connected, revealing that he wrote his song Claudia just hours after their first meeting and sent her portions of it that same night.
Their relationship has also been a creative partnership. Sulewski starred in and directed the music video for Finneas’ 2022 song Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, which featured intimate footage of the couple during a trip to Paris.
The couple announced their engagement in September 2025 after Finneas proposed during a romantic sunset proposal. They shared photos from the moment on Instagram, with Sulewski captioning the post, “forever and ever 9.22.”
Finneas later opened up about the pressure he felt while planning the proposal, joking that keeping the engagement ring a secret for weeks had left him so anxious that he realised he was not cut out for a life of crime. He also told People that he planned to let Sulewski take the lead on their wedding preparations because he wanted her to love every detail of the celebration.
Sulewski has built a career of her own as a content creator, actress and founder of the body-care brand CYKLAR. She has also appeared alongside Finneas at major events including the Grammys and Oscars, and has maintained a close relationship with Billie Eilish.
Finneas and Sulewski’s wedding marks the latest milestone in a relationship that began with a dating-app match and quickly developed into both a personal and creative partnership. After years together and nearly a year of engagement, the couple are now officially husband and wife.
