Shakira craze refuses to die down as 2026 FIFA anthem ‘Dai Dai’ storms back
Shakira has a reputation as the ‘queen of charts.’ Her 2026 FIFA anthem, Dai Dai, is the latest proof.
Despite being released months ago, the track, which also features Burna Boy, bounced back to the top of Spotify’s Global chart.
Other chart data suggest the comeback is no fluke.
For example, the insanely hit track is dominating on the Billboard charts. Perched at No.1 for the fifth week on the Billboard Global 200 and remaining for eight weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. US. chart.
These rankings show Shakira’s sensation is refusing to slow down.
But the craze for Dai Dai did not stop here.
One of her biggest hits has also entered the Official Physical Singles chart — a feat she achieved after 15 years — debuting at No. 79.
The Colombian pop icon, however, planned to turn that success into support for children worldwide.
That means all royalties from Dai Dai will go to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
“It’s a message for every child who’s been told that their dream is too big,” she previously told People.
“And to remind us that every champion started out as a kid who perhaps went through hardship and struggles, but there was someone that believed in them, and that’s why they didn’t give up,” Shakira concluded.
