Letters reportedly written by US President Donald Trump aide Natalie Harp have revealed the depth of her devotion to the US president as their close working relationship faces growing scrutiny.
The Daily Beast published two letters on Thursday that it said Harp addressed to Trump in 2023.
“I want things to always be right between us,” Harp wrote in one letter, according to the Daily Beast.
“You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life.”
In another letter, Harp recalled Trump calling her while she worked at One America News Network.
“I miss the days when you used to call, during my Talkshow days, and we’d talk about everything and nothing,” she wrote.
Harp has become one of Trump’s closest aides, sitting in meetings, helping manage his social media posts and acting as a channel between the president and outside contacts, CNN reported.
Her relationship with Trump has faced increased attention after Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff mentioned her during a viral speech this week.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended Harp, describing her to CNN as “one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump’s team.”
