Taylor Swift makes ‘toughest’ decision over Blake Lively’s children

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s reported feud is under public attention once again.

According to Radar Online, the Hollywood pals’ friendship fallout escalates as the Anti Hero hitmaker has distanced herself from Lively’s daughters, James Reynolds, Inez Reynolds and Betty Reynolds.

In December 2024, the legal battle between Lively and Justin Baldoni, came into light when the Gossip Girl alum accused him of sexual harassment and retaliation. However, as the legal fight intensifies Swift’s name was involved, which eventually led to their reported rift.

An insider told the outlet that severing ties was difficult for the pop superstar because she shared a close bond with Lively’s daughters, saying, “It was one of the toughest decisions Taylor has ever had to make.”

Adding, “She loves the girls and it hurt her, but she had no choice given the circumstances. She wanted to make a clean and total break.”

Previously, in her 2020 album Folklore’s song, Betty, she even used the names of the girls for characters.

Likewise, she showed her special bond with the children in May 2025, during her Eras tour show in Madrid. She said, “I have to say that in folklore, some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez and Betty.”

Now, another source claimed that Swift decided to distance herself from the girls “a few months ago” after discussing the issue with hubby Kelce, who agreed it “was the right thing to do.”

Noting, “Right now, Taylor doesn’t feel it’s healthy or realistic to maintain a close relationship with the children while having virtually no relationship with their parents.”

“She hopes that once the girls are 18 and able to make their own decisions, they’ll be free to reconnect if they choose,” the source further added.

It is pertinent to mention that the rumors about a fallout between the two celebs have been growing for some time but neither of them publicly addressed it.
