Hayden Panettiere’s untimely death has left many in shock, and they are raising questions about the circumstances surrounding it.

As a result, the police are investigating the matter.

“Law enforcement sources confirm police responded to an incident involving Hayden Sunday and there is currently an open investigation,” TMZ reported.

For those unversed, Hayden breathed her last on Sunday, August 16. This heart-wrenching news was shared by his father, Skip Panettiere.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” Hayden’s father said in a statement to ABC News.

“She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” he continued.

Hayden’s dad also asked for privacy “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.”

It is worth mentioning here that Hayden began her acting career in 2000 as a child star.

Throughout her career, she appeared in several projects, including Remember the Titans, Scream, and Raising Helen.

However, Hayden rose to fame after playing the lead role in the sci-fi film Heroes.
