Hannah Einbinder on why ‘Hacks’ fame will follow her career forever

Hannah Einbinder, though, ended her run on Hacks this year, but she says the popularity her role, Ava Daniels, generated will follow her for the rest of her career.
Her remarks come after she observed her Teenage Sex and Death co-star, Gillian Anderson, who, like the actress, is famous for her portrayal in another iconic series, X-Files.
“Doing all this press with Gillian for the movie, she talks about the ‘X-Files’ constantly,” Einbinder told Variety‘s Awards Circuit Podcast.
She continued, “She’s asked about it constantly. It’s made me feel like, ‘Oh, I’m going to talk about “Hacks” for the rest of, oh, life! going to be so happy that there will always be something in life! ‘I can come back to and meditate on and express gratitude for.’
“When you are the ‘I’ of something that has a deeply connected base of people who love it, that stays,” the actress shared.
But apart from Einbinder fame, Hacks has other popular characters, Jimmy and Kayla, for example.
However, despite fans’ frantic calls to have a spin-off focusing on them, it is, however, not happening now or not yet.
Hacks co-creator Paul W. Downs, who himself starred as Jimmy in the HBO series, explained why the spin-off will not be made.
“I would love for it to happen, and I have said this: you know we had a very specific plan for the way we wanted to end the story in the finale,” he shared.
“And because of that, I don’t want anything else to come after. I want that to be the last thing people remember,” the actor-creator said.
Hacks is streaming on HBO Max.
