Connor Murphy’s alleged last video before drowning sparks concern after going viral online

A video claimed to be Murphy’s final recording is circulating online following reports of his death in Thailand

A video being described on social media as one of Connor Murphy’s final recordings before his reported death in Thailand has gone viral, as online users continue to debate its authenticity while authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the fitness influencer’s death.

The clip, which has been widely shared on X, shows Murphy speaking with slurred speech, making unusual facial expressions and appearing visibly distressed.

In the video, he says, “I’m just trying to remind myself because I’m really high.”

He continues, “It’s getting weird. I feel like I’m dying every second.”

Later in the recording, Murphy says, “So I’m just making this video so I can like watch it and remind myself. F**k! Pinch myself. Am I dreaming? Is it real?”

The video ends with him saying, “Just filming this for me, okay. It’s the camera roll. Don’t post this one. Okay, reminder. Connor, reminder. Don’t post this one.”

The footage has been shared alongside claims that it was recorded shortly before Murphy’s reported death.

The post later received a Community Note stating the video was from years earlier rather than being his final recording.

However, the user who shared the clip disputed the note, claiming the footage had been uploaded to Murphy’s TikTok account four days before his reported death.

At the time of writing, no such video appears on Murphy’s official TikTok page, and the timing of the recording has not been independently verified.

The renewed attention comes after reports that Murphy died on July 7 in Thailand. According to Thai media reports, emergency services responded after the American influencer allegedly displayed unusual behaviour at a luxury rental property in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province.

Investigators reportedly found extensive paint damage throughout the rented home, with paint smeared across walls, furniture and household appliances.

The property’s owner said she was devastated by the damage, while authorities also recovered two unused syringes from Murphy’s vehicle and unidentified pills from his waist bag.

Officials have not linked those items to his death, and toxicology tests and an autopsy are still pending.

Police reports also alleged that Murphy left the property before entering a nearby lake, where he reportedly became exhausted while swimming. Divers later recovered his body, and authorities have yet to announce an official cause of death as the investigation continues.
