‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Episode 28: Karaoke Night ends with shock elimination as couple exits villa
The show premieres new episodes daily, except Wednesdays, on Peacock at 9pm ET/6pm PT
Corbin and Parmida have been dumped from the villa after the Islanders were forced to make a public decision during Sunday night’s episode of Love Island USA.
The episode centred on the aftermath of America’s compatibility vote and ended with an emotional elimination.
The evening began on a lighter note with the villa’s first karaoke competition, which was won by Kenzie and Dylan. However, the atmosphere shifted when host Ariana Madix arrived to reveal the results of the public vote.
Zach and Kayda, along with Corbin and Parmida, were named the two least compatible couples by viewers. The remaining Islanders were then asked to publicly stand beside the couple they wanted to save, leaving no opportunity for a private vote.
Only KC and Tierra chose to support Corbin and Parmida, while every other couple stood with Zach and Kayda. The result confirmed Corbin and Parmida’s departure from the villa.
Despite their exit, the pair left on positive terms, saying they were grateful to have met each other and intended to continue their relationship outside the show. Their farewell provided a warm conclusion to their time in the villa after Parmida’s late arrival and Corbin’s challenging experience during Casa Amor.
Although Zach and Kayda survived the vote, the public’s decision appeared to affect them. Kayda questioned how KC and Tierra had received more support from viewers, while a preview for the next episode suggested Zach was struggling with the possibility that the public viewed him unfavourably.
