Keke Palmer and Sean Evans have fuelled speculation about their relationship after reportedly enjoying a private dinner together in New York City.
The actress and singer was seen with the “Hot Ones” host at Lucali, a popular Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, on Friday evening. TMZ reported that the pair spent more than 90 minutes together and appeared focused on each other throughout the meal.
An eyewitness told the outlet that although there was no public display of affection, Evans appeared “smitten” with Palmer. Photographs published by TMZ and DeuxMoi showed the pair seated at a candlelit table, engaged in conversation.
The sighting comes weeks after Palmer and Evans generated discussion among fans during an episode of her Baby, This is Keke Palmer podcast.
During the interview, Palmer introduced Evans as her “potential future suitor”, leading to a playful exchange between the two.
When Evans revealed that TLC star Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was his childhood celebrity crush, Palmer replied, “I played Chili in the movie. Close enough.” Evans responded, “Absolutely close enough.”
The conversation continued with compliments from Palmer’s mother, Sharon Palmer, who praised the pair’s connection. Evans later joked, “Oh, I thought you were talking about us,” prompting laughter from those present.
At the end of the episode, the pair embraced and exchanged “I love you” before saying goodbye.
Fans have also pointed to their memorable 2025 appearance on Hot Ones, where Palmer suggested they share a kiss to test whether there was chemistry between them. Following the kiss, Palmer declared, “The sparks are sparking!”
