Acer introduces its first Snapdragon C powered laptops with AI upgrades

Acer has launched two new Windows laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The new lineup includes the Swift Spin 14 AI, designed for users who want advanced AI capabilities and premium portability, and the Aspire Go 15, which is aimed at everyday users looking for an affordable computing option.

The launch also introduces Acer’s first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C platform.

The Swift Spin 14 AI is a Copilot+ PC and is available with either the Snapdragon X2 Elite or Snapdragon X2 Plus processor. Both variants feature a dedicated neural processing unit capable of delivering up to 80 TOPS of AI performance.

The laptop supports up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It also comes with integrated Adreno graphics that support DirectX 12.2 and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

Acer has equipped the device with a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to be used as a traditional laptop, presentation device or tablet.

The Swift Spin 14 AI features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100 percent sRGB color coverage. It also supports the included Acer Active Stylus 420, which uses Wacom AES 2.0 technology and offers 4,096 pressure levels along with tilt detection for writing and creative tasks.

The device is powered by a 65Wh battery. Acer says it can provide up to 23 hours of video playback or up to 16.5 hours of web browsing on a single charge. Fast charging is supported through a 100W USB Type-C adapter.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, two USB Type-C ports with USB4 support, two USB Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.1 port.

Additional features include a 5MP infrared camera with Windows Hello support, DTS Ultra audio and Snapdragon Sound compatibility.

Acer also introduced the Aspire Go 15 as a budget-friendly Windows laptop for browsing, office work and entertainment.

The Aspire Go 15 is the first laptop announced with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C processor. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display, up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

The laptop includes a 53Wh battery, Wi-Fi 6E, a Full HD webcam, dual speakers and several connectivity options, including USB Type-C, USB Type-A and HDMI ports.

Acer has also included AcerSense software for system management and performance optimization. The company said the laptop uses recyclable packaging and incorporates recycled materials in its design.

According to Acer, the Swift Spin 14 AI will be available in North America from August 2026, while customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will get it from July 2026. The device will reach Australia during the third quarter of 2026.

Acer has not yet announced pricing details or a release date for the Aspire Go 15. The company added that specifications and availability may vary by region.
