Ray J falls to Supah Hot Fire in round 2 of MMA debut during Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 14 fight

Ray J’s MMA debut ended in a second-round knockout loss to internet personality Supah Hot Fire during Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 14 event in Las Vegas.

The singer and reality television personality, whose real name is William Norwood Jr., faced Supah Hot Fire at the UFC Apex on May 23. The bout ended just 26 seconds into the second round after Supah Hot Fire landed a clean combination that dropped Ray J to the canvas.

Ray J started the fight aggressively, pressing forward throughout the opening round and appearing to control much of the pace. Supah Hot Fire spent most of the round circling and avoiding exchanges, leading commentators to question whether he was conserving energy or struggling to respond.

The momentum shifted quickly at the beginning of round two. Supah Hot Fire, whose real name is DeWayne Stevenson, came out more aggressively and connected with a series of punches before the referee stopped the contest immediately following the knockdown.

After the fight, Ray J appeared frustrated and claimed the pair “had a plan”, adding that money had been lost because of how the bout ended.

The fight drew significant attention in the lead-up due to repeated verbal exchanges between the two men. Supah Hot Fire had referenced Ray J’s past relationship with Kim Kardashian throughout fight week, while security reportedly intervened during heated moments at promotional events.

Ray J had previously spoken publicly about recent health problems, including pneumonia and heart-related issues, but was medically cleared to compete. Despite the loss, many viewers praised him for stepping into the cage for the first time.
