
Veteran Hollywood actor Beau Starr has passed away at the age of 81, with his death confirmed by his brother and fellow actor Mike Starr.
Beau Starr best known for his roles in major films such as Halloween and Goodfellas, passed away peacefully on April 24 in Vancouver, Canada.
His brother and fellow actor Mike Starr confirmed in a statement that the actor died of natural causes.
Following the news tributes began pouring in from across the entertainment industry. His Goodfellas co-star Chris Serrone also shared an emotional message on Instagram confirming the loss and paying tribute to Starr’s life and legacy. Serrone described him as a remarkable individual who lived a meaningful life as an actor, athlete, and family man.
Beau Starr is remembered for his versatile career in film and television. In Goodfellas, he portrayed a younger version of Henry Hill in a key flashback sequence. Over the years, he built a strong television presence with appearances in popular series including T.J. Hooker, Cagney & Lacey, Knight Rider, Hill Street Blues, MacGyver, and many others.
He began his acting journey in 1979 and made his television debut in the Canadian sketch comedy series Bizarre in 1986. From there, he went on to establish himself as a familiar face in both film and television, earning respect for his consistent and diverse performances.
