Patrick Muldoon, the actor best known for roles in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and the film Starship Troopers, died on Sunday at the age of 57.
According to media reports, the actor, producer and musician died following a heart attack.
The TMZ reported he spent Sunday morning at home with his partner, Miriam Rothbart, before going to take a shower.
When his partner Rothbart went looking for Muldoon, she found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
At the time of his passing, Muldoon had the partner Miriam, however, they were not married.
They had been in committed relationship since 2023.
On 26th August 2025, Muldoon took to Instagram and shared a loved-up photo with his partner with a heartfelt note.
He said with a heart emoticon” My girl, 2 years 2gether today from the night this picture was taken where I got you drunk enough to become my girlfriend. Thank you my love.”
Patrick Muldoon’s girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart is a producer.
She used to work in entertainment law before she became a music producer, according to her profile on the Chang pictures website.
In 2018, Rothbart eventually founded Rothbart Productions. She served as an executive producer on a film titled, Only Child.
Miriam also serves as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Performance Art Museum in addition to being a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles.
