The 30-year-old model calls the connection “deeply disturbing,” emphasizing that she had no affiliation with Epstein yet was linked to him at a time when she was only 20 years old.
Hadid recently addressed the matter while responding to a fan on Instagram, who mentioned being unfollowed after the files resurfaced. She clarified, “I had to unfollow you because you weren’t talking about those files, Gigi.”
Calling Epstein a “disgusting human being,” Hadid expressed her shock over seeing her name in the files. She wrote, “Horrible to read someone you’ve never met speak about you that way. Especially in this context.”
The supermodel stressed the importance of clarity, adding, “I don’t want to take away from the stories of real victims, but your comment made me realize maybe it’s not clear and it’s important to let you know.”
Gigi further revealed that during the December 2015 email exchange, she was only 20 or 21 years old. “To be named in those files, at that age, is deeply disturbing,” she said, firmly stating that she has never had any affiliation with Epstein.
For context, in the controversial 2015 emails, a redacted individual reportedly asked Epstein, “How did the Hadid sisters become models and make so much money? I don’t understand…” Epstein replied vaguely, “You know,” while the person added, “The father paid the agency.”
