LAHORE: Islamabad United delivered a dominant performance to defeat Quetta Gladiators by eight wickets in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 clash at Gaddafi Stadium.
After winning the toss, Quetta Gladiators opted to bat first and posted a competitive total of 183 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs.
Captain Saud Shakeel led from the front with 42 runs, while Hasan Nawaz top-scored with an impressive 66. Tom Curran contributed 29, whereas Shamyl Hussain and Khawaja Nafay added 21 and 18 runs respectively.
For Islamabad United, Shadab Khan was the standout bowler, claiming three crucial wickets.
In response, Islamabad United comfortably chased down the 184-run target in the 19th over, losing just two wickets. Sameer Minhas played a brilliant innings of 83, while Shadab Khan remained unbeaten on 69.
