The highly anticipated anthem for Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, titled “Khelenge Beat Pe”, featuring Atif Aslam, Aima Baig, Sabri Sisters, and Daniya Kanwal, was unveiled on Tuesday.
The anthem premiered across PSL’s social media channels with the caption: “The wait is over. The official Pepsi x HBL PSL 11 Anthem has arrived to define a #NewEra. Ab rukna nahi hai, kyunke maidan main aag laga dein ge! Are you ready to Khelenge Beat Pe?”
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the anthem celebrates the league’s journey over the past 10 years and coincides with the expansion to eight teams for the first time. “The HBL PSL has become a passion for cricket fans across the country,” the PCB added. “Khelenge Beat Pe captures the story of a tournament that runs through the veins of an entire generation. It also reflects Pakistan’s enduring love for cricket, a sport that continues to captivate millions nationwide. Each year since 2016, the nation unites to celebrate this world-class cricket extravaganza, the HBL PSL.”
Notably, Atif Aslam returns to the PSL stage for the second time, following his performance in the 2022 anthem “Agay Dekh”. Meanwhile, this season marks Aima Baig’s fourth appearance, having performed in the 2021 anthem “Groove Mera”, the 2022 anthem, and the 2024 anthem “Khul ke khel”.
PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer stated, “The HBL PSL has always represented world-class cricket, unforgettable entertainment, and the incredible passion of our fans. As we enter Season 11, this anthem symbolizes the league’s evolution and the thrilling journey ahead. It reflects PSL’s current spirit: confident, dynamic, and ready to inspire a whole new generation of players and supporters.”
