
International gold prices drop $436, settling at $4,250 per ounce.
Gold prices witnessed a significant decline across Pakistan, marking one of the steepest drops in recent history.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 43,600, bringing it down to Rs. 447,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs37,380, settling at Rs338,883.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a sharp fall of $436, reaching $4,250 per ounce.
This represents the largest single-day drop in gold prices, with the per tola rate declining by more than Rs125,000 from its all-time high, reflecting heightened volatility in both local and global markets.
