Lisa Rinna opens up about experiences with rude celebrities new memoir

The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ alum made the comments in her book ‘You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It’
Lisa Rinna has spoken about difficult encounters with several celebrities in her new memoir, naming Dionne Warwick and Star Jones among the rudest people she has worked with during her career.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum made the comments in her book You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, where she reflects on her experiences in television and reality entertainment. Rinna wrote about her time appearing on Season 4 of Celebrity Apprentice and described an early interaction with Warwick.
“The first time I met her on a create-your-own pizza task, she barely looked at me but had the audacity to bark, ‘Go get me a Pepsi!’”
Rinna said she complied with the request at the time. “And for some reason, I ran off like a simp to get Dionne Warwick a Pepsi. She thanked me by conspiring with her coven to get me canned.”
The actor and reality television personality later left the show early in the season. She wrote that fellow contestant Star Jones played a role in the situation, claiming she was dismissed after Jones “threw her under the f–king bus” during the second episode.
Looking back on the experience in the memoir, Rinna wrote that the competition environment left her wary of other contestants. “I couldn’t trust any of the women.”
She also commented directly on Jones, writing that she was grateful for the experience despite the tension. “Being such a twat, because her viciousness prepared me for my future as a Beverly Hills Housewife.”
Rinna also reflected on the wider impact of reality television on her personal life. Speaking about her years on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she said the experience affected her family.
“I think there was a bit of a black cloud over me for a while. And I think that can affect the entire family dynamic.”
The television personality joined the Bravo series in 2014 for Season 5 and left the programme after Season 12 in 2023.
In the memoir, she also criticises several other figures from her career. Rinna describes her former Days of Our Lives co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly as the “biggest bully in Hollywood” and criticises some former Real Housewives cast members, including Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke and Denise Richards.
She also discusses her relationship with Bravo executive Andy Cohen, criticising him for publishing private text messages about her departure from the show in his own memoir.
