Police launch investigation after armed men allegedly abduct and assault girl in Domail’s Zairki area
BANNU: In a deeply disturbing and shocking act of brutality, a minor girl was allegedly abducted, mercilessly beaten, and publicly humiliated by a group of armed men, who filmed the horrifying assault and later circulated the video widely on social media.
The harrowing incident reportedly occurred in the Zairki area of Domail tehsil, where the girl was allegedly taken by the suspects and subjected to a violent attack.
According to initial reports, the attackers accused the girl of wearing boys’ clothing and spending time with a boy an act they claimed violated their imposed social norms.
The viral footage shows the assailants brutally assaulting the terrified girl while issuing threats and warnings. In the video, the men can be heard telling her that she must never again be seen with boys and must remain confined to her home in the future.
The disturbing clip has sparked outrage, with many questioning the alarming rise in such acts of vigilantism and violence.
Police officials confirmed that authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation. Law enforcement agencies are analysing the viral video and collecting evidence to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
