The federal government increased the price of petrol by Rs8 per litre for the next fortnight, starting from March 1.
The Ministry of Petroleum has issued a notification announcing an increase in petroleum product prices.
According to notification, the Petroleum Division stated that the petrol price has been raised from Rs258.17 to Rs266.17 per litre.
Likewise, diesel now costs Rs280.86 per litre after an increase of Rs5.16 from the earlier price of Rs275.70.
