
The price of gold per tola climbed by Rs2, 500 to settle at Rs526, 462.
KARACHI: Gold and silver prices continued their upward trajectory in both international and domestic markets, reflecting sustained bullish momentum in the bullion sector.
On Friday, February 20, the price of gold in the international bullion market surged by $25 per ounce, reaching $5,037.
Following the global increase, gold prices in the local market also recorded a significant rise. The price of gold per tola climbed by Rs2, 500 to settle at Rs526, 462.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs2, 144, reaching Rs451,356.
Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs170 to Rs8,574, while the rate for 10 grams of silver increased by Rs145 to stand at Rs7,350.
Market analysts attribute the persistent rise to strengthening international trends and growing investor interest in precious metals.
