Passport office timings for Ramadan 2026 announced

The Government of Pakistan has announced new working hours for passport offices during the holy month of Ramadan and also shared updated fee information.

According to an official statement, the revised schedule will be implemented at Regional Passport Offices, Executive Passport Offices, and Passport Processing Counters.

Under the new timings, from Monday to Thursday, tokens will be issued and public dealing will take place from 9:00am to 2:00pm, while overall office working hours will remain from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

On Fridays, token issuance and public service hours will be from 9:00am to 12:30pm, whereas offices will continue to operate from 8:30am to 4:30pm. A daily prayer break will be observed from 1:00pm to 1:30pm.

Officials clarified that these Ramadan timings will not apply to RPO G-10/4 Islamabad, RPO Garden Town Lahore, RPO Awami Markaz Karachi, and NADRA Mega Centres.

The fee for a standard 36-page passport with a validity of five years has been set at Rs4,500, while a 10-year passport will cost Rs6,700. For urgent processing, the fee for a five-year passport is Rs7,500, and for a 10-year passport it is Rs11,200.

For a 72-page passport, the normal fee for five years is Rs8,200 and Rs12,400 for 10 years. If applicants choose urgent processing, the fee is Rs13,500 for a five-year passport and Rs20,000 for a 10-year passport.

In the case of a 100-page passport, the regular fee for five years is Rs9,000 and Rs13,500 for 10 years. For urgent issuance, the fee has been set at Rs18,000 for five years and Rs27,000 for 10 years.
