The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the exam schedule for the High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) board exams for the academic year 2023-2024. Students and instructors can view the datesheet on the board’s official website, upmsp.edu.in. As stated on the date sheets released, the annual exam 2024 will begin on February 22, 2024 and wrap up on March 9, 2024 . The UPMSP Class 10 and 12 board examinations will be held across two sessions, the first from 8 am to 11:15 pm and the subsequent one from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

In the morning shift, the board will begin the class 10 board exam 2024 with Hindi and Primary Hindi and the class 12 exams with Military Science. Exams for class 10 commerce and class 12 general Hindi and Hindi language will be administered during the second shift on February 22.

Meanwhile, in November, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad board published the practical test dates for the UP board 2024 class 10 and 12 examinations, which would take place between January 25 and February 9, 2024.

The first round of the UP Board Practical exam will take place in the districts of Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti from January 25 to February 1. The UP Board practical exam round 2 will subsequently take place from February 2 to February 9 in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.

From January 5 to January 12, 2024, middle school administrations will conduct the class 12 students’ Uttar Pradesh pre-board practical exams at the school levels.

A total of 55 lakh students have registered for the UP board examinations in 2024. The figure is lower than the 58 lakh students who enrolled for the board examination in 2023. The number from last year includes 31 lakh students from Class 10 and 27 lakh students from Class 12, for a total of 58,67,329 students.

According to UPMSP authorities, the decline of 3 lakh students in the number of applicants enrolled for final examinations is mostly due to the board’s tough exams and anti-copying procedures. Last year, the UP government imposed many harsh penalty guidelines for any individual found cheating.
